Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a groundbreaking, evidence-based therapeutic approach that recognizes the natural multiplicity of the human mind. Developed by psychologist Richard Schwartz, IFS offers a comprehensive framework for understanding and healing psychological challenges by working with the various aspects of our internal system.

At its core, IFS acknowledges that each person possesses an undamaged, wise "Self" surrounded by different parts that develop to protect us from pain and trauma.
